The Project Control Engineer manages planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for data center construction activities.
The role is identified as at-site and coordinates project controls across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for data center construction activities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Track planned versus actual progress and analyze schedule deviations, critical paths, and key milestones.
- Coordinate schedule updates with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Monitor procurement, engineering, and construction activities against the project baseline and identify potential delays.
- Support recovery schedules, catch-up plans, and mitigation strategies for delayed activities.
- Maintain progress measurement systems, including WBS, activity updates, S-curves, and progress curves.
- Analyze schedule risks, constraints, and dependencies and highlight critical issues to project management.
- Support EOT and delay analysis, change management, and other project controls requirements.
Requirements
- Experience managing project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for data center construction activities.
- Experience using Primavera P6 to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Experience analyzing schedule deviations, critical paths, milestones, risks, constraints, and dependencies.
- Experience with progress measurement systems, including WBS, activity updates, S-curves, and progress curves.
- Experience supporting recovery schedules, catch-up plans, mitigation strategies, EOT or delay analysis, and change management.
