Key skills for this role
Working within the DFDS England Business Partnering and Projects Team, you’ll support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects and continuous improvement initiatives that help achieve strategic business objectives.
You’ll work closely with operational teams, customers and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop solutions and ensure projects are delivered effectively on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for
• Coordinating project activities, schedules and resources, ensuring progress is tracked and key stakeholders are kept informed.
• Working with operational teams, customers and suppliers to identify improvement opportunities, obtain quotes and coordinate the required resources.
• Supporting the development and presentation of project business cases, including budgets, benefits and objectives, for Senior Leadership approval.
• Identify and managing project risks, working with relevant stakeholders, authorities and specialists to ensure projects meet legal, regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Supporting project implementation through training, communication and change activities, while monitoring and reporting on project benefits and overall outcomes.
About you
You’re a proactive and organised professional with strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse information, track project performance and present findings clearly.
You’ll have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trust and credibility at all levels and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
