Role Overview
The Project Billing Analyst serves as the financial transaction hub for active data center and hyperscale infrastructure construction projects.
The role translates construction activity into auditable financial records supporting cost reporting, capital expenditure tracking, and payment compliance.
The position reports to project controls leadership and works with project cost analysts, project managers, procurement, and accounts payable teams.
Billing and Invoice Processing
- Create and manage Service Entry Sheets in SAP or an ERP to trigger approval chains.
- Validate AIA pay applications, route approvals, and coordinate lien waiver and insurance certificate collection before payment release.
- Track invoice aging, resolve stalled approvals, support period-end close, and maintain audit-ready files.
- Process retainage releases, support accruals and cost transfers, and assist project closeout.
