Project Architect / Specification Writer

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect/Specification Writer to join our diverse and creative team.

This role combines leadership in the technical components of project delivery with responsibility for preparing, coordinating, and maintaining high-quality specifications and project manuals.

• Participate in the preparation and editing of architectural specifications and project manuals for complex building types.
• Coordinate all Project Manual components with internal disciplines and external consultants to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.
• Review drawings for quality control and alignment with specifications; provide specification support throughout the design process and construction administration.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to execute project workplans and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams in defining project scope, budget, schedule, performance criteria, and quality standards.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may affect project schedules, budgets, or design quality.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
