Project Accountant

- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting methods.

- Knowledge of construction billing (AIA forms, retainage, etc.)

- Ability to collect and assemble data for the development of financial reports.

- Proven communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other team members.

- Excellent computer skills including a familiarity Microsoft Office and JDE.

- Ability to analyze data and solve complex problems.

- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reporting.

- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Solid understanding of construction industry terminology and workflows

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required.

- 1-3 years financial experience in a construction environment is preferred.
