Programs & Services Resource Lead

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a recreation, events, hospitality, or similar service-based environment.
• Previous experience supporting camps, outdoor recreation programs, snow schools, mountain bike programs, events, or similar operations is an asset
• Minimum three (3) years of experience scheduling and coordinating large employee teams.
• Experience maintaining payroll records and supporting payroll administration processes.
• Experience working with large volumes of data, records, and operational information.
• Experience tracking registrations, enrollments, rosters, or other program-related records.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital workforce management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, participants, families, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking abilities.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and support a variety of operational teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, record keeping, and administrative processes.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 40 lbs when required.
• Comfort working with technology, data management tools, and evolving workplace systems, including AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience using Dayforce, WorkHub, Connecteam, Sling, or similar workforce management systems is an asset
• Recreational sport certifications (e.g., CSIA, CASI, PMBIA) or familiarity with recreational sport programming are an asset
• A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G ”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. *Abstract completed by Conservation Halton.
