Job Summary

Job Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of professional software development experience. • Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies with good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming • Experience in technologies like WebServices (REST/SOAP), Javascript, jQuery, XML, XHTML etc. • Developing and deploying J2EE applications on application servers like Tomcat. • Good knowledge of Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring MVC) with Hibernate. • Experience in Agile methodologies. Primary Skills • Java/J2EE • WebServices (REST/SOAP), Javascript, jQuery, XML, XHTML,API Secondary Skills • Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring MVC) with Hibernate • Git, Jenkins and Jira • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle

Responsibilities

• Leverage good communication, presentation, and articulation skills in both verbal and non-verbal communication. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills. • Extensive programming and development skills.- Knowledge of one or more programming languages and development tools. • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment. • Thorough functional understanding of one or more functional business areas. • Working knowledge of enterprise application system development methodology and life cycle. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Project; or other similar tools. • In-depth understanding of relational database concepts internet technologies Unix/Linux operating system functions • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other programmer/analysts cross functional peers to support deadlines. • Ability to use NetApp IT Program Management Office system development guidelines and methodology.
