The postholder is responsible for managing the performance of the in-year Major Works Programme, including the review of the baseline & milestones and identifying project issues impacting at a programme level.
The postholder is also responsible for programme financial management including the Enabled Work Schedule CP, updating MWP forecasts, submit funding requirements and report on in-year commitments.

Summary of Role – Programme Performance Lead
The role will support the Infrastructure Programme Manager leading on the performance management of the Major Works Programme.
The postholder is responsible for managing the performance of the in-year Major Works Programme, including the review of the baseline & milestones and identifying project issues impacting at a programme level.
The postholder is also responsible for programme financial management including the Enabled Work Schedule CP, updating MWP forecasts, submit funding requirements and report on in-year commitments.

Key tasks associated with this role
Review the monthly Programme Summary Report to identify areas for improvement, issues to be resolved, variances and comments
Oversee the performance management of the Major Works Programme.
Lead on the review of the Major Works Programme baseline and milestones, including the tracking of the completion of projects.
Identify and find solutions for issues which are impacting the Major Works Programme.
Management of the finances of the Major Works Programme through forecasting, ABC bids and reporting
Management of the EWS CP finances through forecasting, BC Approvals, CP Approvals and reporting.
