Role Overview

The Program Manager is a new position based at the St. Catharines, Ontario facility.

The role leads divisional stakeholders through major new program launches for OEM customers.

The position focuses on quality, delivery, product performance, profitability, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional APQP product launch teams and motivate stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Drive flawless launches and ensure program quality, delivery, and product performance objectives are met.
  • Identify profitability risks and opportunities to improve margins and returns.
  • Escalate issues and obtain senior management support to remove launch obstacles.
  • Use the Global Product Introduction Methodology to guide programs and lead milestone gate reviews.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and communicate status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure customer requirements for timing, special characteristics, FMEAs, quality objectives, training, corrective actions, preventive actions, and product development are addressed.
  • Support the Manager of Program Management with assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technology diploma in an applicable engineering discipline.
  • At least three years of project-related experience in the design, development, and manufacture of safety-critical automotive components.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership experience, with the ability to plan projects and communicate across disciplines.
  • Strong financial acumen and working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Local travel is required, with potential for international travel depending on assigned projects.

Compensation

  • The salary range is $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
  • Final salary depends on experience, internal equity, and budget considerations within the target hiring range.
