Role Overview
Lead daily Security Services operations for an assigned hospital, clinical office building, and other Northwestern Medicine properties.
Support regional security leadership with administrative, operational, financial, analytical, and strategic activities.
Cultivate a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians, employees, and properties.
Responsibilities
- Manage security operations, staff, resources, schedules, training, reviews, and performance deficiencies.
- Oversee breach response, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency response, drills, and security event monitoring.
- Manage the annual budget and ensure operations align with regional and system goals.
- Develop site-specific security procedures, policies, programs, and guidelines.
- Maintain relationships with internal leaders, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and external partners.
- Provide project management for security initiatives and support implementation of enhanced procedures.
Security Systems and Technology
- Support access control, alarm, CCTV, card access, radio, lock, safe, code blue, electronic rounding, infant protection, and mass communication systems.
