Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or technical degree or equivalent
MS in a technical or managerial discipline a plus
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management a plus
10 years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or industry business management
Experience in management of engineering projects involving maintenance, repair, test, product improvement, or alteration of naval ship Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Systems and Equipment

Understanding of Contract Data Requirements
Scheduling and task planning using Project and Excel
Knowledge, understanding and experience with programs/technical areas under the Navy’s In-Service Engineering Agents (NSWCPD) in either controls/networks/cyber or propulsion, auxiliary, logistics and modernization business areas. Subject Matter Expertise in a Navy ship Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical system is a plus
Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
