Program Manager

Responsible for planning, organizing and managing a project, or series of projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for interfacing and presenting to the customer. Must exhibit excellent time management skills.

Role Expectations

Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years related work experience.

Plans and establishes key elements of goals and objectives for a team with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job area.

Responsible for making, and sometimes suggesting, improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area.

May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies, and procedures.

Typically supervises a team consisting of experienced individual contributors.

Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
