Role Overview
Join the Financial Systems team for a summer 2027 internship in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Gain hands-on experience at the intersection of accounting, information technology, financial data, and system processes.
Support the maintenance and integrity of the company's general ledger system.
What You Will Do
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger system, including adding business units, accounts, and ledgers.
- Ensure the proper structure and hierarchy of the general ledger system.
- Support management and analysis of large financial data sets.
- Work on projects requiring both financial and technical perspectives.
- Collaborate with departments across the company to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
- Support daily system maintenance, improvement tasks, and internal financial reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- Be a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and able to handle and analyze large data sets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
- A professional and authentic approach to work and interactions is expected.
