Program Director

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature program methodologies, processes, and tools while ensuring organizational compliance.
• Oversee enterprise-wide initiatives, direct projects, manage dependencies, and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for program health, financial forecasting, and benefits realization.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate program-level risks and make scope, schedule, and cost trade-off decisions.
• Hire, coach, lead, and mentor project management, engineering, and technical teams.
• Represent Parsons with clients and subcontractors and lead scope, contractual, and commercial negotiations.
• Mobilize resources across offices, regions, and support functions and optimize allocation across workstreams.
• Partner with Business Development to identify and secure additional client work.

Required Qualifications

• 25 or more years of relevant experience with significant supervisory and senior leadership responsibility are required.
• Experience managing large, complex programs or portfolios valued at approximately $1 billion to $5 billion is required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, project directors, managers, designers, and technical support personnel is required.
• Program Director-level client and large-scale project management experience is required.
• Strong operational, financial management, reporting, personnel management, and team management experience is required.
• Deep understanding of industry practices, regulations, and modern engineering and project management technologies is required.
