Program Director

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Establish program methodologies, processes, and tools in line with organizational standards.
• Oversee enterprise-wide initiatives, direct projects, manage dependencies, and align senior stakeholders.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for program health, financial forecasting, and benefits realization.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate program-level risks and manage scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs.
• Hire, coach, lead, and mentor large teams of project managers, engineers, and technical professionals.
• Lead client and subcontractor relationships, including negotiations on scope, contracts, and commercial adjustments.
• Mobilize and optimize resources across offices, regions, support functions, and multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with Business Development to identify and secure additional client work.

Required Qualifications

• 25+ years of relevant experience, including significant supervisory and senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing large, complex programs or portfolios valued at approximately $1 billion to $5 billion.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams of engineers, project directors, managers, designers, and technical support personnel.
• Client and large-scale project management experience at Program Director or equivalent senior level.
• Strong operational, financial management, personnel management, and reporting experience.
• Deep understanding of industry practices, regulations, and modern engineering and project management technologies.
