Program Administrator, UGME

As a Program Administrator in the Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) program at TMU, you will serve as an invaluable resource for TMU’s MD student population, ensuring their journey from orientation to graduation is seamless and supported.

The Program Administrator will provide administrative, operational and program support to the Manager, Undergraduate Medical Education & Educational Design, clinical faculty and students in the School of Medicine's Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, and will collaborate with regulatory, educational, and accreditation bodies as needed. Under the guidance of the Manager and in collaboration with other Program Administrators, this role will address specific needs and inquiries from clinical faculty, staff, and MD students related to course content and administration, medical student scheduling, MD student assessments, clinical faculty evaluation, curriculum evaluation processes, and administrative and financial support for the program. The Program Administrator will also assist with the implementation and coordination of the Primary Care Longitudinal Experience (PCLE), Clerkship and Electives placement and rotations.

Responsibilities include:

Academic and administrative support for the program including document preparation, scheduling, and committee support

General program office administration including course scheduling, exam coordination and collaboration with other SoM units

Rotation/placement scheduling and MD student support

MD student assessments and clinical faculty/curriculum evaluations

Registration and records management

Organizes meetings/special events including orientation, graduation, research days, seminars and more

UGME accreditation and documentation support

Financial management and account oversight

Note: The primary work location for this role is the School of Medicine campus in Brampton.
