Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
Create and maintain customer relationships while supporting customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability goals.
Shape technical direction and strategies for HPE and its external customers.
Contribute technical knowledge and project methodologies to the company’s solutions portfolio.
Management Level
Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues as a technical subject-matter expert.
Provide expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams, with possible team leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
Use significant independent judgment to determine the best methods for achieving objectives.
Responsibilities
- Verify and implement detailed technical designs based on project needs.
- Develop enterprise-level technical solutions.
- Lead technical assessments and solution delivery to clients.
- Manage team performance and lifecycle.
- Coordinate installation, design, and migration activities across networks, applications, or platforms.
- Provide advanced consulting, proposal support, system tuning, and solution modifications.
- Contribute to strategy and client needs analysis.
- Respond to technical inquiries using industry-standard products.
- Share knowledge, produce technical materials, and present at conferences.
- Support sales activities, manage bids, and grow customer portfolios.
Education and Experience
- Requires 8 or more years of professional experience with a relevant bachelor’s degree, or 11 or more years without a degree.
Knowledge and Skills
- Broad and deep technical expertise across multiple technologies.
- Innovation, communication, and leadership experience in solution delivery.
- Ability to improve system availability, performance, and agility through solution design.
- Experience developing tools and solutions and reusing existing expertise.
- Strong understanding of architectural dependencies.
- Expertise in at least one technology area.
- Effective communication with senior management.
- Troubleshooting capability across complex, multi-technology environments.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities, contribute to proposals, manage teams, and deliver comprehensive implementations.
