Key skills for this role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day technical performance of designated production lines, including:
Monitoring automated production equipment and line performance.
Setting up, adjusting and optimising machinery for production.
Using HMIs and control systems to monitor performance and make real-time adjustments.
Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting faults to minimise downtime.
Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
Identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
Working with equipment suppliers and technical specialists to troubleshoot and optimise machinery.
Monitoring production measures including throughput, downtime, yield and waste.
Maintaining accurate maintenance and asset records through our CMMS.
Supporting a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture.
You’re a mechanically driven problem solver who enjoys understanding how equipment works – and how to make it work better .
You’ll ideally bring:
A relevant trade qualification or strong hands-on technical experience in production or maintenance.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a high-volume processing environment.
Experience operating, monitoring or adjusting automated production equipment.
Confidence working with HMIs, control panels and production monitoring systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals and schematics.
