Production Technician

We are currently seeking a Production Technician .

This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

The Production Technician position is responsible for providing technical support, process knowledge, continuous improvement, and production R&D.

The incumbent will also develop and implement new processes and procedures, as well as continuously work on existing processes to reduce cost and improve quality.

Must have the ability to collaborate with multiple teams including plant maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and safety.

This position requires understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, process automation, and lean manufacturing principles.

Must be able to collect and analyze data, develop standard operating procedures, and train others.

• Learn and understand Apache’s manufacturing, quality, and safety processes
• Troubleshoot existing production systems
• Manage equipment settings and recipes
• Develop procedures and training materials. Lead training sessions.
• Work directly with manufacturing engineer to collect and analyze production data
• Suggest process improvements and work with engineering to develop implementation plans.
• Work with engineering and maintenance on equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other assignments as requested, or as business needs require.

• Preferred (but not required) two or more years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Preferred (but not required) understanding of robotics, and vision systems, control systems.
