Please note: We are recruiting for a continuous shift night position.
The position will start on straight days (M-F) and within a few weeks time, will move to a continuous night role (6/6:30p to 6/6:30a) on a 36/48 biweekly schedule to include two weekends a month.
Starting rate: $30.89/hr plus an hourly shift differential once assigned to the “continuous” shift.

Key Responsibilities
A Production Technician is an entry level role in our chemical manufacturing plant and a valuable member of the production team focused on safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Safe operation of high powered machinery for packaging intermediates and finished products in to bags, super sacks, cartons, drums, totes, boxes, and tank wagons. (must be able to manually lift and stack 50lb sacks onto a skid)
- Safe handling of chemicals and materials
- Changing filters and cleaning filtration systems
- Assembly and disassembly of the rotoformer,
- Troubleshoot problems with flaker belts, rotoformer, and other packaging equipment
- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping
- Operate various Crushers
- Setup packaging for upcoming batches
- Labeling, stenciling, placarding of intermediates, products, and rework containers
- Participate and successfully complete all Company approved and required training, inspections and audits, etc.
- Strictly follow safety protocols set forth by the federal, state, local, and the site.
- Operate heavy-duty forklift
What we need from you - minimum requirements:
- Be 21 years or older
- Basic computer skills ( Must have the comfort and aptitude to learn computer applications associated with the position.)
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Strong general mechanical and math skills.
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, and twisting
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
Education
HSD or GED
