Role Overview
Manage and supervise daily factory production activities, manpower, workflow, quality, and project schedules for joinery production.
The role covers custom furniture, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and interior joinery projects.
Production Responsibilities
- Supervise joinery production staff and monitor daily workflow.
- Plan and assign manpower according to production requirements.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor material usage, manpower, productivity, and production progress.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize production requirements.
Coordination and Quality
- Coordinate with design, technical, project, procurement, and site teams.
- Review drawings and ensure production follows approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor production quality and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with site teams to meet installation and project deadlines.
- Report production progress and issues to management.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience as a Production Supervisor in joinery or furniture manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of wood cutting, shaping, assembly, veneering, polishing, and finishing.
- Experience in custom furniture, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and interior joinery.
- Ability to read and understand technical and production drawings.
- Strong manpower planning, team management, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- UAE joinery or furniture manufacturing experience is preferred.
