Responsibilities
- Review and interpret shop drawings, production drawings, and project specifications
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in the carpentry workshop
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved drawings and quality requirements
- Monitor project progress and production timelines to ensure on time delivery
- Coordinate with the design, project, and site teams regarding production requirements
- Prepare production schedules and allocate manpower efficiently
- Identify material requirements and coordinate with the purchasing department for timely procurement
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of required materials
- Ensure efficient utilization of machinery, equipment, and manpower
- Conduct quality inspections during and after production
- Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions when required
- Maintain production records, progress reports, and material consumption reports
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, joinery, furniture manufacturing, or fit out production
- Ability to read and understand technical and shop drawings
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of production planning and project scheduling
- Familiarity with material procurement and inventory management
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer / Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing and production operations of our carpentry workshop.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of carpentry and joinery production, be able to read and interpret technical drawings, manage production schedules, coordinate material procurement, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
