Production Supervisor (1st/2nd/WE shift)

Analyze production performance and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, scrap reduction, and cost performance.

Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions, MFRCs, drawings, and process improvement records.

Utilize Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools including Kaizen, 3C’s, TWI, Autonomous Maintenance, Kamishibai, and Visual Management to improve operational performance.

Lead, coordinate, and delegate continuous improvement projects within assigned departments.

Promote a culture of operational excellence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement through employee engagement, coaching, and accountability.

Contribute ideas and recommendations that support operational improvements, employee safety, productivity, and company success.

Lead, coach, and develop employees to improve performance, engagement, and overall effectiveness.

Assign work, establish expectations, and monitor performance to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and production goals are achieved.

Train, onboard, and develop employees on safety procedures, job responsibilities, quality standards, standardized work, and workplace expectations to build capability and support succession planning.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate operational priorities, departmental performance, business objectives, and organizational updates.

Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.

Enforce company policies, procedures, attendance standards, and workplace expectations consistently and professionally.

Partner with leadership and Human Resources regarding performance management, corrective actions, staffing, employee development, and employment recommendations.

Maintain accurate personnel records, payroll approvals, and employee documentation assigned teams.

Demonstrate flexibility to support operational requirements across shifts and departments as needed.

Complete other tasks as assigned or required.

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience as a Group Leader, Team Lead, or similar role. Experience leading teams of 10 or more employees in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies preferred. Experience supporting precision manufacturing, machining, aerospace, defense, or similar regulated industries preferred.

Minimum of 2–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience as a Group Leader, Team Lead, or similar role.

Experience leading teams of 10 or more employees in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies preferred.

Experience supporting precision manufacturing, machining, aerospace, defense, or similar regulated industries preferred.
