Production Planner, WinDet

Oversee planning of the production value stream of WINDET products from raw materials to shipment.

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Shipping and Purchasing to:

• Create and drive the schedule for providing product to best meet customer needs.
• Oversee Part Number and Bill of Material management for existing and new products.
• Identify and drive process improvement activities to reduce scrap, overproducing and over-inventory situations, and to reduce production lead times.

• Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Purchasing to manage the production schedule: Establish priorities for manufacturing based on Production schedule and Sales forecast. Plan for spikes in demand, special orders, or potential opportunities. Provide lead-time information for customer demand. Coordinate repair or replacement of returned materials.

• Manage inventory levels and accuracy in the ERP system: Create and transact work orders. Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Establish and maintain settings for MRP or Kanban fulfillment. Coordinate disposition of non-conforming materials.
