Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets
- Collaborate with the Factory Manager to ensure production resources are effectively utilized
- Analyze raw material consumption trends and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Initiate purchase orders for materials, ensuring timely reorder to prevent production delays
- Communicate regularly with the Quality Control team to understand and uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with the QC team to address any quality concerns during the production process
- Work closely with the Factory Manager to understand production timelines and deadlines
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery timelines
- Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast production requirements
- Provide accurate forecasts to support effective resource planning and inventory management
- Generate and analyze production reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators
- Communicate production variances and propose corrective actions to optimize efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Paper Packaging Manufacturing industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
- Proficient in using ERP systems and other production planning tools
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of production processes and an understanding of quality control standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
