Responsibilities
- Operate machines to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved
- Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements
- Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Maintain full working knowledge of all processes
Requirements
- Two plus years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setting
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to understand blue prints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams
- Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions

Principal Accountabilities
- Operate machines to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved
- Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements
- Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any problems affecting safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality
- Maintain full working knowledge of all processes
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships
- Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong team work
- Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position
- Basic ability to understand blue prints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams
- Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two plus years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setting
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
Starting Hourly Pay Range
- $20.00 $24.00
