Responsibilities
- Work with machines, equipment & computer systems to produce animal feed
- Complete required paperwork for assigned tasks
- Follow manufacturing practices & safety policies
- Follow housekeeping standards
- Operation of plant equipment to achieve daily production targets
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines
- Communicate any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations from specifications to Team Lead or Maintenance
- Collect raw material and final product samples and perform tests to ensure specifications
- Measure & weigh ingredients
- Follow quality standards and ensure proper documentation for feed safety
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to learn new processes and equipment
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Self motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset

About This Opportunity
- Location: Niverville Feed Mill
- Employment Type: Full time (40 hours/week)
- Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, and holidays.
- Are you looking for a hands on role where you can be part of a team that keeps things moving? As a Production Operator at Canada Packers, you’ll play a key role in producing high quality animal feed in a safe, efficient, and team driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Working with machines, equipment & computer systems to produce animal feed
- Completing required paperwork for assigned tasks
- Following manufacturing practices & safety policies
- Following housekeeping standards
- Operation of plant equipment to achieve daily production targets
- Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines
- Communicating any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations from specifications to Team Lead or Maintenance
