Production Operator

The primary responsibility is to set-up/changeover specified Press equipment and verify set-up through first piece inspection so that flow of work is continual thereby increasing department efficiency.

In this position you will support in leading the team to meet objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost are achieved daily.

You would be operating heavy machinery (Punch Press) 2nd Shift.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to stand 100% of the scheduled workday.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and reach in all directions frequently and without difficulty.

Entry Level.

Previous experience in assisting with Superjet operations preferred.

Proven ability to read ADP Work Orders.

Good problem solving skills.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems in a fast paced environment.

Able to lift 50 pounds.

Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

Able to work flexible hours and over-time when required.

Reasonably available to attend off-shift training when required.

This is an hourly non-exempt role.

The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17 /hour.

Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
