Production Operator Night Shift

The assembly/welding of parts in accordance with the process, achieving building requirements (parts per hour/shift), ensuring our customers requirements are met on-time-in-full

Operate machinery, which may include welders, spin riveters, screwdrivers and other machinery as instructed

Pack assemblies/parts to the defined quantity and standards

Maintain 5s/housekeeping standards holding yourself and team members accountable

Carry out quality and safety checks as required

Complete all required documentation to ensure accurate traceability of parts

To be successful you will need to prefer completing work of a repetitive nature, in an environment that works with detailed work instructions and have the ability to meet demanding targets.

You should operate with a Right-First-Time (RFT) approach and be able to contribute to solving problems when they arise.

Working with safety in mind is critical and as a team player possessing the ability to influence other team members to strive to achieve is an essential attribute for success

You should have 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above including maths and english, and qualifications in Engineering or Performing Manufacturing Operations would be advantageous,

Experience or demonstrable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.

In return for your commitment and loyalty we will offer a basic hourly rate of £12.83 plus £0.30 flex bonus and shift allowance and night shifts attract an extra £1.00 per hour. Basic contractual hours are 37.5 hours per week which can extend to 43.5 hours per week (contractual) as required. Overtime rates are paid for hours worked over 37.5 per week. Overtime can be required by extending your working day/shift or by working on weekends as the Business requires, at premium rate
