Production Operator

The Production Operator’s role is that of operating the plant equipment in a safe manner, which would allow for Yield and Cost targets to be achieved. This role also focuses on constant quality checks and basic troubleshooting

Operation of plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Observe and develop Standard Operating Procedures in order to achieve standardization and a high level of performance.

Share learning’s on-the-job by coaching team members, as well as producing One Point Lessons.

Support the Engineering team in troubleshooting of recurring problems, whilst helping with inspection and lubrication routines.

Regularly do housekeeping and cleaning in the work area to maintain good standards.

Participate actively in Autonomous Maintenance Team in a chosen area, to drive out losses whilst improving performance

QUALIFICATIONS

Higher secondary school / ITI Pass as Minimum Requirement.

EXPERIENCE

The candidate should also have at least two years’ work experience in a manufacturing role. Proir experience of working in shift scheudle is prefered. Academically strong candidates who have no experience can also be considered for the role.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Needs to be able to solve problems within guidelines, especially in terms of safety and quality-specification.

Fast and effective trouble shooting skills would be an asset as well.

A stable character to react calmly and effectively during crisis-moments would be very beneficial.
