Production Operator

Production Operator Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 2PY £31,500 per annum (including shift allowance) plus overtime and benefits You will be working a shift pattern 4 on / 4 off (Mon – Sun) 12hrs per shift, 05:30am to 05:30pm At Marshalls plc, we believe building tomorrow's world starts with what we can create together today. Our business is made up of three distinct divisions, Landscaping Products, Building Products and Roofing Products, and it is with our Marley Roofing business that we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and reliable production operator to join our team in Bishopbriggs. So, what's the mission? You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties relating to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products, using all operational techniques and creating the UK's leading roof tiles. You will be required to use manual handling tools, including the use of powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. You’ll work in an environment where safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets are the norm! What are the mission-critical skills?

• Experience operating in a small/medium manufacturing operation
• FLT counterbalance licence would be preferred but not essential
• Own transport required due to the site location and start times
• Team player with attention to detail
• Good level of English, oral and written
• IOSH qualification is desirable
• A forward-thinking individual continually looking at improving processes
