We are seeking a self-motivated Chemical Operator.

The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude.

Excellent communication skills are essential along with exceptional time management, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate, working on rotation shifts -1 week Days (44 hrs Monday-Thursday) followed by 1 week Nights (36 hrs Monday- Wednesday).

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the manufacture and processing of Arianor Dyes, Intermediates, Cosmetic products, Lakes and Azo Dyes.

• Operate processing plants, which may include the following: Presses, Reaction vessels, Ovens, Guedo’s, program setting, moisture checking, de-traying, Kibblers, Mills and Blenders.

• Operate mechanical handling devices

• Assist in the movement of materials

• Clean working areas and equipment.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum GCSE’s Maths, English, General literacy and numeracy

• Previous work experience in a chemical or chemical processing environment (Desirable)
