Role Overview
The Production Operator operates plant equipment safely to achieve yield and cost targets.
The role includes quality checks, basic troubleshooting, and support for maintenance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Observe and develop Standard Operating Procedures.
- Coach team members and produce One Point Lessons.
- Support Engineering with recurring-problem troubleshooting.
- Assist with inspection and lubrication routines.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
- Participate in Autonomous Maintenance activities to improve performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Higher secondary school or ITI qualification is the minimum requirement.
- At least two years of manufacturing experience is expected.
- Academically strong candidates without experience may also be considered.
- Prior shift-schedule experience is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Solve problems within safety and quality guidelines.
