We are looking for a Production Manager to lead production operations within our Brampton facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while helping shape the future of our operation.
You will work alongside talented cross-functional teams and play a key role in developing people, optimizing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and production teams to achieve operational excellence.
Drive a strong safety culture focused on employee well-being and regulatory compliance.
Ensure production schedules are met while maximizing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including productivity, OEE, yield, scrap, and downtime.
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Engineering teams to optimize plant performance.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production and quality challenges.
Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage workforce planning, employee performance, and talent development activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous learning.
Support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and operational improvement programs.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
3+ years of experience leading supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in plastic extrusion related field is strongly encouraged
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams within a unionized environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
Experience using ERP, MRP, and manufacturing reporting systems.
