Job Description
The Production Engineer is responsible for production-line runnability, product quality, machine reliability, process improvement, and operational compliance.
Production and Maintenance
- Ensure runnability and product quality meet R&D standards.
- Update machine condition reports and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks.
- Update and implement predictive maintenance tasks and maintain repair and project history.
- Lead machine projects involving runnability, upgrades, and additional features.
Quality and Improvement
- Suggest potential raw-material savings with the technical and QC departments.
- Liaise with QC to maintain strict quality standards.
- Conduct weekly Fishbone Analysis and take corrective action.
- Work with Process Improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Propose continual improvement initiatives for improved productivity.
Training and Compliance
- Prepare training programs for new operators and machine setters.
- Prepare skill sets for operators, machine setters, and alternative backups.
- Ensure operations adhere to Quality Management System guidelines.
- Comply with integrated management system requirements.
- Coordinate with HSSE to update HIRA and document hazards and risks.
- Coordinate with HSSE to update aspect and impact documentation.
- Participate in the development, planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the occupational health and safety management system.

- Ability to comply with integrated management system requirements.
- Ability to align with HSSE requirements for hazard and risk identification and documentation.
- Ability to support quality management system guidelines and applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
