Role Overview
Plan, manage, and execute production across a multi-process HVAC manufacturing shop floor.
Own production planning, bottleneck removal, lead-time reduction, and urgent-order delivery without compromising quality or safety.
The role works closely with sales, purchasing, stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch.
Company and Manufacturing Context
The company manufactures HVAC air-distribution products including grilles, registers, diffusers, dampers, and related sheet-metal assemblies.
The factory includes fabrication, assembly, powder coating, inspection, packing, and dispatch in a high-mix, make-to-order environment.
HVAC experience is not mandatory; candidates from other discrete manufacturing backgrounds may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the production plan and achieve delivery, quality, and cost targets.
- Manage capacity, bottlenecks, materials, and work in progress across departments.
- Re-plan for urgent orders, breakdowns, shortages, and absences.
- Allocate and cross-train manpower to keep production flowing.
- Reduce lead time, setup time, work in progress, and rework on the shop floor.
