This position will serve as a liaison between Production and Operations Executive management. Production Coordinators, play a vital part to ensure information flows and activities are completed on time with a high degree of quality.
Assists with production and delivery of required documentation benefitting specific weapons programs
Support weapon, unit, and or component moves in support of Production
Deliver weapon books to weapons records and production areas
Coordinate 35-account inventory and ordering duties
Work with tooling coordinators to ensure proper tooling is in the bay
Coordinate the collection of beryllium and radiation release results as needed
Lead 5S activities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimize productivity
Assist Production Section Managers with procedure validation and replacement of documents in weapons records
Coordinate gas lab sampling and supplies to lab and production
Plan, compose, and distribute safety communication and newsletter to production personnel
Document and track weapons records and deadlines
Participate in production personnel hiring activities when needed
Support continuous improvement projects in order to gain efficiencies and improve quality
Support the development of Key Performance Indicators

Possess thorough understanding of assembly/disassembly activities and automated manufacturing resource planning system philosophy
