Role Overview
Full-time Product Security Engineer role supporting a client of Hire Feed.
Design and implement security controls for a cloud-native platform.
Focus on threat modeling, secure development practices, and cross-functional product lifecycle security.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Remote work from anywhere.
Compensation
- Annual payout is $250K-$400K.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security requirements for product features and infrastructure components.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for product features.
- Implement secure coding practices and security testing methodologies.
- Design and deploy secure architectures for cloud platforms with engineering teams.
- Monitor security vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Proficiency in threat modeling methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and AWS, Azure, or GCP best practices.
- Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and penetration testing tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container security.
- Strong understanding of IAM and zero-trust principles.
- Ability to write clear security documentation and engineering guidelines.
