The employer is seeking a Product Security Engineer for a full-time role.
The role focuses on designing and implementing security controls for a cloud-native platform.
The position emphasizes threat modeling, secure development practices, and cross-functional product security collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security requirements for product features and infrastructure components.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing product features.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices and security testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure cloud platform architectures.
- Monitor and respond to vulnerabilities while coordinating remediation across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Proficiency in threat modeling methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and AWS, Azure, or GCP best practices.
- Familiarity with SAST, DAST, or penetration testing.
- Experience with container security, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management and zero-trust principles.
- Ability to write clear security documentation and guidelines for engineering teams.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $250K-$400K per year.
