Job Overview

  • Looking for a Product Manager – Paints, Waterproofing & Plastering to take ownership of key product categories including paints, waterproofing systems, plasters, putty, and related building finishing materials.
  • The role requires a person who can manage and grow category sales through showroom promotion, contractor engagement, staff training, product knowledge development, stock planning, brand coordination, and technical support.
  • Ideal for someone who understands building materials, enjoys product selling, can train sales teams, and can actively push category growth in the UAE market.

Category Management

  • Fully responsible for the growth and performance of paints and coatings, waterproofing solutions, and plastering and finishing materials.
  • Understand each category technically and commercially, and guide customers toward the correct product depending on site requirement, budget, surface condition, and application method.

Brand Management

  • Manage and promote brands including Terraco, JK Cement ProFix, National Paints, Jotun Paints, and Emirates Paints.
  • Maintain strong relationships with brand representatives, understand brand pricing, arrange training sessions, coordinate promotions, and ensure showroom team is confident in selling each brand.

Showroom Product Promotion

  • Ensure product categories are properly displayed, promoted, and explained inside the showroom.
  • Create attractive product displays, ensure brand samples and technical data sheets are available, train showroom sales staff, and improve visibility of fast moving and high margin products.

Sales Support and Customer Handling

  • Support sales team in converting leads and closing category specific sales.
  • Attend important customer discussions, support walk in customers, recommend right product systems, prepare product comparisons, and follow up on major inquiries.

Technical Knowledge and Site Support

  • Provide practical technical understanding of how products are applied on site.
  • Guide customers on surface preparation, primer selection, paint system recommendation, waterproofing application method, crack treatment, plaster thickness, and coverage calculation.
  • Visit sites along with sales team or brand technical team to understand issues and recommend solutions.

Sales Team Training

  • Train PlanetEco’s internal sales team on product features and benefits, brand differences, technical application, customer objections, quantity calculation, and upselling complete systems.

Revenue and Profit Growth

  • Increase monthly sales volume, improve gross profit margin, promote high margin products, reduce dead stock, identify new products, create product bundles, and track category wise performance.

Stock and Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure right stock availability, monitor fast moving items, avoid overstock, suggest reorder levels, and review dead stock.

Supplier and Brand Coordination

  • Coordinate directly with suppliers and brand representatives for pricing updates, product training, technical support, new product launches, marketing materials, and promotional schemes.
