- Coordinate with import suppliers and local logistics companies for procurement of floral decor items
- Generate purchase orders in ERP system ensuring accuracy of order details, quantities, and delivery timelines
- Partner with suppliers to uphold quality standards and conduct inspections of incoming shipments
- Manage optimal inventory levels for floral decor items, monitor turnover rates, and mitigate surplus or obsolete stock
- Conduct market research by visiting competitors and staying updated on pricing, new products, and industry trends
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchasing activities including transactions, pricing, and supplier information
- Oversee online marketplace promotional activities and coordinate with marketing department for product imagery and information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous experience in purchasing field, preferably with exposure to floral or decorative items or high SKU
- Driving License
- Proficient in organization and multitasking
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- Knowledgeable in inventory management software
- Skilled in Excel for data analysis

Role Overview
- We are looking for a Purchase specialist to join Gulf Flowers Distribution. This role focuses on the analytical and market research aspects of sourcing and managing floral products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Coordination: Engage in meticulous coordination with import suppliers and local logistics companies.
