Role Overview
Addenda is seeking an experienced Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst to lead development and growth of a SaaS-based insurance technology platform.
The role bridges business needs, customer expectations, and technology teams to deliver scalable product solutions.
Location and Working Model
- This is a remote role, and candidates may be based in Bahrain or other locations.
- The role requires travel to Bahrain for customer meetings, workshops, project activities, or business engagements.
- The role involves collaboration with regional stakeholders and teams across different time zones.
Product Leadership
- Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the product backlog and create user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and documentation.
- Drive feature development, product enhancements, innovation initiatives, and timely releases.
Delivery and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, customer success, implementation, and support teams.
- Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements meetings in Arabic and English.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor customer feedback, adoption, and usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a related product role is required.
- Experience managing SaaS products or enterprise software platforms is required.
- Experience with insurance companies, brokers, TPAs, or InsurTech solutions is required.
- Motor insurance experience is highly preferred.
Product and Technical Skills
- Strong Agile/Scrum product management experience and expertise in backlog management and prioritization are required.
- Experience defining roadmaps, gathering requirements, managing releases, and translating customer needs into features is required.
- Understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, cloud solutions, and the software development lifecycle is required.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is preferred.
Language and Communication
- Fluency in Arabic and English, spoken and written, is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required.
