Mission
Build the technical backbone that turns an operations-heavy group purchasing organization into a scalable software platform.
Help independent restaurants access purchasing power similar to a chain while reducing reliance on manual operations.
Problem and Systems
- Replace manual, people-dependent procurement workflows with trustworthy, accurate, scalable, self-service software.
- Contribute to architecture, order workflows, matching and pricing logic, data foundations, and automation layers.
- Turn complex food procurement processes into reliable product workflows.
Required Profile
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale production systems and architect multi-service applications.
- Deep hands-on expertise in TypeScript or Node.js and Python, plus React, Flutter, or a similar frontend technology.
- Experience modeling messy real-world data into trustworthy systems at scale.
- Track record of automating operations-heavy processes with AI and avid use of advanced AI development tools such as Claude Code.
- Experience leading end-to-end architecture through launch and making pragmatic tradeoffs to solve user problems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience building B2B platforms such as procurement, marketplaces, or supply-chain products is preferred.
- Experience with billing, invoicing, payments, or reconciliation systems is preferred.
- Experience scaling and leading technical teams through architecture, code review, and engineering standards is preferred.
Success Measures
The business scales without losing pricing accuracy, order integrity, or operational trust.
The team can serve more restaurants with less manual work.
