About the Team

  • As a Product Manager at Factor Canada, you are responsible for solving meaningful customer problems while staying true to our brand vision.
  • Reporting to the Director of Product, you will own key decisions regarding positioning, assortment, and pricing of your portfolio.
  • You will help define the 'What' and the 'Why' of our menu, building a strategic roadmap to drive long term customer retention and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Roadmap Ownership: Define and own key aspects of our product roadmap, prioritizing business outcomes and features.
  • Customer Insights & Empathy: Serve as the definitive authority on our customer by combining quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary champion for the customer, explaining the 'Why' behind every initiative.
  • Product Discovery: Lead the discovery process for new concepts, validating value, ease, feasibility, and viability.
  • Integrated Product Development: Partner with Culinary, Operations, and other stakeholders early in discovery to co create solutions.
  • Post Launch Reviews: Digest and summarize product launches, A/B tests, or other data sets into actionable insights.
  • Commercial Ownership: Manage commercial viability of your portfolio, balancing quality, cost, and other considerations.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner with international brand counterparts to share best practices.
  • Entrepreneurial Approach: Take a rapid testing approach to learn and pivot quickly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Product Management or Product Development, ideally within food manufacturing, D2C subscription, or FMCG environment.
  • Customer Centric Mindset: Ability to identify unmet customer needs and develop solutions.
  • Strategic Influence & Communication: Outstanding ability to manage meetings, present to diverse audiences, and negotiate buy in.
  • Analytical Reasoning: Exceptional ability to break down complex problems and build data driven business cases.
  • Physical Product Fluency: Deep understanding of product discovery and delivery frameworks for physical supply chain.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial streak and desire to excel in high growth, fast paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field (e.g., Food Science).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally.
