About the Role
Product Manager role owning new physical products end to end, from identifying opportunities and defining requirements through production launch.
The role works daily with an Industrial Designer, engineers, physiotherapists, the growth team, and manufacturing partners.
The position emphasizes engineering depth, product briefing, commercial judgment, customer understanding, and ownership of product outcomes.
Opportunity Definition
- Find unmet needs through customer interviews, review mining, physiotherapist conversations, category data, and competitive teardowns.
- Build the business case around target customers, positioning, price, margin, and assumptions that must be validated.
- Assess physiology and test risky assumptions economically before committing to tooling.
Development and Production
- Own product briefs, specifications, costs, margins, BOMs, quotes, vendor selection, and tradeoffs needed to meet cost targets.
- Drive prototyping, user testing, design validation, DFM, tooling, tolerance verification, sample approval, and golden-sample sign-off.
- Coordinate compliance, packaging, manuals, photography, the first production run, and quality-control standards.
