Employment and compensation
- The position is an employee role with an anticipated duration of 12 months for the temporary assignment.
- The stated salary range is $104,333 to $129,723, with salary grade UOITP Grade 12.
Position purpose
The Product Manager manages initiatives supporting the strategic operations of a designated faculty or service and communicates with technical and non-technical university staff.
The role leads application-solution implementation, data modeling, operational application support, technology selection, and release improvement.
Project and application leadership
- Identify business and strategic needs and evaluate technical, economic, and operational solution options.
- Develop project proposals, document risks and mitigation strategies, and coordinate licensing, provisioning, and vendors.
- Organize, lead, and supervise interdisciplinary project teams and negotiate project staffing.
- Prepare progress reports, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support operational applications and contribute to application design, testing, improvement, and release implementation.
