Evertz Microsystems is seeking a Product Manager for the evertz.io xchange platform. You will work with a dynamic team of engineers focused on video/audio transport, routing, processing and distribution within a cloud and SaaS product offering.

Responsibilities
- Interfacing with customers to design solutions tailored to their applications and workflows.
- Identifying and capturing new market opportunities and revenue streams.
- Assisting the team with defining new product roadmaps, architectures, features, and functions.
- Interactively working with the RnD team throughout the new feature/roadmap development life cycle.
- Working with multiple teams across the company to validate solutions and resolve technical problems.
- Competitive benchmarking from a technical and a commercial perspective.
- Promoting our solutions through industry trade shows and targeted customer engineer meetings.
- Assisting with testing and validating new products prior to launch.
- Assisting with detailed product documentation and application notes.
Requirements
- Deeply familiar with industry standard transport technologies (ST2110, ST2022, RIST, SRT)
- Understanding of core compression technologies (H264, HEVC, JPEG XS, JPEG 2K)
- Working knowledge of Linux environments, networking and IP protocols
- Prior broadcast video experience
- Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computers/Broadcasting or related technology field
- Eligibility for travel to US and International client sites
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform agile iterative development
- Able to learn quickly, work independently and have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

- Reporting to the SVP Media Distribution & CIO.
- Working with a dynamic team of engineers focused on video/audio transport, routing, processing and distribution within a cloud and SaaS product offering.
- Customers and applications are heavily focused on core broadcast, OTT and live sports/news applications.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with customers to design solutions tailored to their applications and workflows.
- Identifying and capturing new market opportunities and revenue streams.
- Assisting the team with defining new product roadmaps, architectures, features, and functions.
- Interactively working with the RnD team throughout the new feature/roadmap development life cycle.

Location and Hours
- Location: Burlington, Ontario.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Salary Range
- CAD 90,000 to CAD 150,000 per year based on relevant experience.
