Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the local market and select applicable products from the portfolio to achieve sales budget
- Recommend pricing strategies and provide direction to align sales with optimum Value Selling Proposition
- Communicate vision and value of new products to sales team and develop sales tools
- Build brand awareness by supporting Marcomm team with content for digital marketing and trade publications
- Develop knowledge and understanding of technical aspects of product portfolio and competitive differentiation
- Collaborate with Product Marketing team on product campaigns
- Support sales team with customer visits for new product introductions, special projects, training, and technical application support
- Prepare for, participate in, and present at trade shows and other company/customer events
Requirements
- University degree and/or College Technician/Technologist, or Marketing
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Sales of Electronic Components
- Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent understanding of the customer decision process and key drivers
- Must be able to travel overnight as required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Understanding of the Industrial Market Segment is an asset
- French speaking is an asset

Description
- The Product Marketing Manager Automation manages all product lines within the Interface portfolio: relays, signal conditioners, and energy monitoring devices.
- Develop effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate features and benefits of existing and new products to the Canadian market.
- Handle market research, establish market launch plans, influence pricing, guide sales teams, develop messaging and market positioning.
Position Responsibilities
- Continuously develop knowledge and understanding of the local market(s) and select applicable products from the portfolio
- Recommend pricing strategies and provide direction to align sales with optimum Value Selling Proposition
- Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools
- Build brand (portfolio) awareness by supporting the Marcomm team with content for digital marketing and trade publication use
- Continually develop knowledge and understanding of technical aspects of the product portfolio and competitive differentiation
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing team on product campaigns

Qualification Requirements

Compensation
- Salary range: CAD 85,000 to CAD 95,000 annually
