Role Description
The Product Management Assistant / Specialist supports product planning, development, launch, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
The role covers product strategy support, market research, product planning, performance analysis, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
The position works with product, marketing, sales, operations, technology, and other teams to align products with customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product planning, development, launch, and lifecycle management activities.
- Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry research to identify product opportunities.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, product usage data, and market insights.
- Assist with product requirements, features, specifications, and priorities.
- Maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, documentation, specifications, and product information.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and other teams.
- Monitor product performance, adoption, sales, engagement, satisfaction, and other metrics.
- Prepare product reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries.
- Support launches, promotional activities, communications, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Track timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, and support testing and release activities.
- Identify product gaps, customer pain points, and opportunities to improve quality, usability, experience, and commercial performance.
- Communicate product updates, requirements, and priorities clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of product management, product development, market research, and customer experience principles.
- Ability to translate customer insights into practical product requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management, roadmaps, user stories, requirements, and prioritization.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative product development methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with product management, project management, analytics, or collaboration tools is expected.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, customer focus, collaboration, creativity, strategic thinking, and adaptability.
