About the Role
Orbital is building an AI assistant for commercial real estate law and is seeking a Product Engineer to own the end-to-end user experience. You will work directly with customers, drive product improvements, and ship features independently.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand friction, needs, and opportunities.
- Drive product improvements end to end from insight to shipped feature.
- Own the user experience across the product, with the freedom to fix what's broken.
- Become the in house expert on west coast legal customers and their nuances.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Product Engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong, product leaning engineer (engineering first, not a designer or PM moving into code)
- Senior enough to drive independently and ship big things without heavy coaching
- Building heavily with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
- Outgoing, sociable, and empathetic comfortable talking to customers
- Genuinely excited about building great product
- Based in Vancouver and eligible to work in Canada

Role Overview
- We're building a small, high agency product team on the west coast closest to our customers.
- As a Product Engineer, you'll own the end to end experience: jumping on calls with customers, spotting problems, and shipping improvements independently.
You’ll get a chance to:
- Work directly with customers to understand friction, needs, and opportunities.
- Drive product improvements end to end from insight to shipped feature.
- Own the user experience across the product, with the freedom to fix what's broken.
- Become the in house expert on west coast legal customers and their nuances.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Product Engineering team.
What we’re looking for:

- Outgoing, sociable, and empathetic comfortable talking to customers.
- Genuinely excited about building great product.
- Based in Vancouver and eligible to work in Canada.

- Salary depending on level and experience: Mid (L3) CAD 120,000–CAD 146,000; Senior (L4) CAD 146,000–CAD 178,000.
